Pressure up after bump every 3 days

Doing another Overnight Chlorine Loss Test again, for the 3rd time, last nights result showed no drop. Tonight’s reading of my FC was 7.5
FC reading this 7 so only dropped 0.5. I have done some reading on skimmer socks. Some use paint strainers and some use hairnets. For the price I have ordered the hairnets. 100 count for 8 bucks. Pressure is still holding, evening after vacuuming it’s only gone up a tad.
Yes I would SLAM Process (FC/CYA Levels) For you that is FC/31 @ CYA/80
You will need to get pure/plain 6% liquid cleaning bleach OR if you have Liquid Pool Chlorine 10%-12.5% available to you.
If you aren't raising the FC to SLAM Process, the CYA is "buffering" the FC oxidzing action, so the FC is able to "actively kill" anything...
Alrighty now, 619oz at 6% brings my FC to 31.5 a tad over 31. Now what, check in the morning and see if it holds? Another question, looks like my PH is off the charts now, what about that?
Ignore PH when FC/10+
Retest in 15min, 30min, 1hr, if it's holding, test after sunset and then test compare before sunrise
*If it drops, make sure to raise it using PoolMath
Dang it! I dumped beach in at like 5pm, just test @8:18, results 30 FC - do I add more bleach to bring back up to 31?
Ok just added 25oz, will test in 30min. Sun is down and dark outside. Wish I would of known to test that often. Thanks for your help guys. I’m still a newbie and love learning this stuff.

6am - Dropped 5 from last nights so added 75 ounces to bring it back up to 31. So am I correct just keep adding till it holds over night right? It will definitely drop during the daylight hours right? I have to roll out to work, slamming would be better served if one wasn’t working to keep levels up huh?

The more often you bring it back to 31, the faster this works With your high CYA "no", but it's working on stuff too, so "yes"

This morning 6am my reading 28 , added bleach 7am reading 31.
Home from work, 4:25pm reading 14.5 big drop. Added more bleach 7:23pm test results 31.5
Then 8:56pm test results 31.5. Next test 10:24pm results 29. Next test 11:38 results 30.5. Now for Overnight test 7:09am this morning 28.5 ?. ****Here is big problem with maintaining 31 slam level. I don’t think I have enough R-0871 to do one test and only 3 spoons fulls of R-0870. New kit should be here Monday. Need advice here, should I just keep dumping like a gallon of beach in the morning and then one at night till I’m able to start testing again Monday? Also should I take apart my filter and hose my fingers clean again? My pressure is holding pretty good, starting was 11 and now it’s up to 13. Local pool store doesn’t have FAS/DPD chlorine test kits.

Try to find the -F or -J refills for R-0870-J (113g) & R-0871-J (16 - 32 oz) You can refill your small containers for ease of dispensing. But it's a much better price!

That is the Taylor designation to identify size (( A = smallest, I think J is the largest ))The letter after the reagent type (R-0870-J ) indicates the size
Called every pool store around, no luck of getting more R-0870 & R-871 this weekend. TFtestkits we can say has an underground market. Haha! Anyways check out my picture of hairnet in skimmer just after one day. Guess that’s what algae looks like? I was seeing little bits on bottom of pool but thought it was coming from dirt road that gets travel on with 3 private homes behind me. So with no test kit what should I do as far as adding bleach to keep level at 31? Am I SOL till Monday when new supply arrives?
Looking at the history, I would suggest to divide the amount of chlorine needed to reach FC/31 (from 0), into multiple small doses you'll add through the day (6 gallons). Have you added 6gal during the day? to keep up
Started 4/2 Thursday evening and I have use up roughly 10gallons so far. Yesterday was the most added at one shot 3 gallons, 1 quart = 412oz . The first go round was like 5 and a 1/4 gallons
