If you have cloudy water, do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test.

If you need to SLAM Process, then raise your CYA to 30 ppm, lower pH to 7.2, and follow the process.

update. I passed overnight CH test. 4.0 when tested 3.5 this am. Should I retest PH and cya or go ahead and bring down pH and raise CYA. Does order matter? Thanks

Add 20 ppm worth of CYA granules using the sock method. No need to adjust the pH at this time. Wait until you are at or above 8.

Maintain your FC by adding liquid chlorine every day.
