Hey folks - need a little advice.

Situation - pool was drained and refilled after some plaster polishing.
Got the following results results my Taylor K-2006C

FC - 0
PH - 8.2
TA - 130
CH - 200
CYA - 0
CSI - .52
Temp 66
8,600 gallon pool w spa.

I am confident I know what chemicals to add using to calculator...but which do I address first?

Also, I have a chlorinator (using 3 inch tabs) that I shut off because it made my CYA go sky high last year. What is the best way to get my CYA up? Just use straight CYA or use the 3 inch tabs to help bump it up or maybe even shock?

Thanks in advance!

Lower the pH into the 7's.

Add at least 30 ppm of CYA/Stabilizer using the sock method.

Add at least 5 ppm of liquid chlorine.

You can do all that within half an hour.

You can do all the chemicals without waiting except leave 15 minutes between muriatic acid and chlorine.
