This. My understanding is CSI is a measurement that takes time to have an effect. Prolonged exposure to low (corrosion) or high (scaling) is a problem. With your PH at 7.2 I’m assuming you recently added MA. As long as you don’t have an Acid Pump and are keeping it consistently at 7.2 it should rise and CSI will be in range. If it dips a little low because you push PH down to extend times between MA additions it shouldn’t be a big deal.
Ok thanks. I’ve been cycling aerating the pool and adding MA three to four times to lower TA from 100 to 60 so I can add boric acid. Finally got it down to 60 today.
