So I’m testing the FC and CC this morning and so far I’ve put 60 drops of R-0871 and the sample is still pink. Surely I don’t just keep adding drops do I?
25 because I wasn’t sure if I added 2 scoops of powder or just 1. Also, my PH was at 7.4 yesterday and now it’s like 8.4are you using 10ml or 25ml?
use 10ml as it uses less reagent
Never been in one, what do they do?I guess I’ll just take a sample to Leslies
Doesn’t say anything about using 1 scoop of powder or 2. Thanks though.Test Kit Directions.

And this is why I’m confused. Couple ppl say 1 scoop, you say it doesn’t matter. I’m not trying to be a pain, I’m just trying to decipher what it is exactly I should be doing and the right way to do it.One scoop or two, doesn’t matter. Same result.
You have a 6000 gallon pool. That was way too much chlorine. Check your data in Poolmath. It will take a while for that chlorine to dissipate.next day after adding 3 128oz and a quart of liquid chlorine.
I asked that question a couple times yesterday and I was told that was the correct amount based on this:You have a 6000 gallon pool. That was way too much chlorine. Check your data in Poolmath. It will take a while for that chlorine to dissipate.
Looks like you calculated for 60000 gal, not 6000.I asked that question a couple times yesterday and I was told that was the correct amount based on this:
I could not read that as it was so dark. Share your Poolmath data so we can see it more readily.I asked that question a couple times yesterday and I was told that was the correct amount based on this:
You sir are absolutely correct. I accidentally added one too many 0’s. FML. I meant to put 6400 and I had 64,000. So now what? I just hope that much bleach doesn’t turn all the blue squares in my pool white.Looks like you calculated for 60000 gal, not 6000.
Yessir, it was the wrong volume. I’m a dumb Rear, 100%I could not read that as it was so dark. Share your Poolmath data so we can see it more readily.
Regardless, you must have the incorrect volume for your pool in Poolmath. Check that.
