Does anyone know if there is a pvc fitting you can install that you can connect a pool hose? I need to add a drain line downstream of my pump and was going to install a diverter valve and wanted to put a fitting to connect a pool hose. This would allow me to remove the hose when I am not needing to pump to drain.

This. Hose is 3/4" threaded. You can put a spigot or M-M 3/4" threaded to have a place for the hose to attach.

Depending upon the type of pool hose you can use a barbed fitting like this with hose clamps

Great catch @Mdragger88! You solution works if OP has a 1.5" backwash hose. My works if he has a garden hose. I should have asked for a definition of "Pool Hose!"
