Pool Heater comes on at random times

Hello!

My pool heater will engage at certain times... middle of the night, during the day. Sometimes it does this once a month or twice a week. Very random.

Is there a reason for this? I checked every setting in the Pentair app and nothing indicates (even on schedules) for the heater to engage. Moreover, if this is something endemic with these Pentair systems, is there a way to permanently remove the ability to use the heater with the pool? We only use it for the hot tub anyways.

In the heater menu be sure that only the "spa" heat has a setting or is enabled. The "pool" heat should be off. The easiest place to do this is in the EZ Touch itself, not the app.

Excellent! I went to the menu and it was on. I disabled it (moved to "off").

What is odd is that I've had this pool for almost a year and never really had an issue until lately.
