Having my pool totally renovated. They just installed new tile. The guys grouted today. Used white grout instead of gray that we picked. I called to complain and the contractor said they will be back tomorrow to fix it. I said “how are they going to do that?” And he said “ they have their ways”. I’m wondering when they show up tomorrow and just dye the white grout gray how durable this will be over time in chlorinated water?

I personally have not seen a grout that has been dyed, curious about the process and it’s longevity.
