Pool Cover for Construction Debris

Hi all,

We're finishing up our pool build (just filled with water) and moving onto deck construction. What's the best way to cover the pool to avoid debris from the deck construction? We looked into safety covers but those seem pretty pricey for this one task. Any recommended DIY options?

Welcome to TFP.

Float a plastic tarp over the water. It will capture most of the larger debris and you can carefully pull the tarp out without losing much of it in the water.
