Pool Contract - Pool Builder's Repetitive Mistakes

Your gas meter can supply 425 CFM which is equivalent to 425K BTUs. That can barely support one 400K gas heater running.

You need to talk with your gas company about a gas service upgrade if you intend to run two 400K gas heaters simultaneously.

@ajw22 An upgrade even though we won't be running both the pool and the river at the same time?

If you are 100% certain no one will ever try and run both heaters at the same time then ok.

Running the heaters with insufficient gas flow can lead to sooting and damage the heaters. In addition any gas appliances in your house are likely to malfunction and may be damaged.

We also get pinged when you "like" a post we've written, or when you reply to one, or even just add a post to a thread we've been posting in. So you don't have to ping someone every time. Though it doesn't hurt anything. It's mostly used when the person you're pinging has never been in the thread, and you want to call them in, or if they haven't been posting in your thread for some time.

If you don't upgrade your meter I would wire the two heaters with an interconnect to ensure that only one can be powered at a time.

Does anyone have names for their backyard? If so, throw it out there. I'd love to hear all of them.
"The Amusement Park"

With 4 little kids and a wife who used to provide daycare to several others, I have 3 separate swing/play sets, two trampolines, mini basketball hoop (regular hoop is actually in front yard on the drive way), water table, sand table, wood stacks to play on (unsupervised of course!) and am still waiting on the swimming pool! I can't say my kids are spoiled though, my swing set growing up had an elevator in it! It wasn't electric (hand crank) and dangerous as you'd imagine!

Wow! That is one heck of an amusement park I must say. That's super neat. You and your wife must be really cool parents. Growing up I had a swing set made with those metal poles that would come up from the ground if I swung too high. One time I remember my parents having to call a "bee" man to come take away the bees that decided to make a home in my swing set. lol

+3

I can vividly hear the creaking noise as it pulled the not large enough footer out of the ground, and the thump of putting it back.

Thanks, I'll use your "cool" comment the next time one of them says "I hate you" or "You don't love me" because we don't let them do something. Our kids are great, but their mouths sure don't have any filters at any age!

I think everyone has one of those metal swing sets at one point or another, as evidenced by everyone's responses!
