Pool Cartridge Replacement

Hi!

I need to replace my Hayward 1750 Pool Cartridge Filter.

Are there other brands that are better than Hayward?

Pleatco is a quality brand.

Get the dimensions of your existing filter cartridge so that you can confirm what the cross reference shows is correct.

I have used Pleatco and purchased from amazon..Just make sure you get the correct filter, pain to ship back

I've used Pleatco and Unicel. Both seemed to work fine and it seems Pleatco is generally regarded as a better element. I find my filter lasts a lot longer than I expected with regular cleaning and doing it based on differential pressure not time. There have been several articles written but industry experts that indicate most people clean their filter too often when they do it on a schedule.
