The fine filter can help on the Robot. I would also add some skimmer socks to the skimmers to help collect the pollen before it gets to your filter.

Speaking of filters, yours is tiny (seems to be a FL thing). When was the last time you cleaned the filter and are you watching the pressure?

I do have skimmer socks on my skimmer however, it seems like most of the pollen is in the middle to the bottom of the circulation.

I’ve been cleaning my filter every week, however cleaned it twice now in the past two days.

There's no difference and it'll do its job with slower rpm too.

IMO slower is better. More RPM means more flow through the filter but it also means more mixing.

Pollen settles plenty, especially for those running a schedule and not 24/7. It's nearly indistinguishable between algae and pollen. It could be one, the other, or both.

I went cloudy and/or had floor poofs for a couple weeks each spring with many oaks. The OCLT would conform nothing was brewing and a week later, another one would set my mind at ease again.

Run the FC above target for the duration for extra insurance if you pass the OCLT, and SLAM if you fail.

Just about finished running the FC high bc of the lovely yellow dust everywhere in the pool and deck and was second guessing my self. FC stayed high and I plan on dropping it a bit over next few weeks as I see the pollen levels decreasing. I defiantly see it when I brush.

How long do you run the filter and what type of filter. I have a DE filter and when I’m cloudy I run 24x7 and can usually filter out stuff in 2-3 days of my filter is clean and loaded with DE properly and I’m 24x7 run time with proper chemistry and no issues with algae.

I always run my filter 24 /7 and I have a pretty small cartridge filter which I have been cleaning every couple days. I also have hairnets on my skimmer.

No two years are the same. But it always took me several days for each batch/round that blew or washed in. By the time I cleared it, more was added and it seemed like the same stuff. Lol.

I'd say 3 weeks worth was typical.

Wow, that’s crazy. I’ve definitely been at it for a week. My water looks just as cloudy as it did yesterday I’m vacuuming it manually almost every day having no idea if it’s actually getting anything the only time I see it on the bottom is when I brush in the morning and I brush it the evening, but I try to vacuum prior

None of my neighbors seem to be having this issue. They have a Pool Guy that comes once a week and vacuums and brushes.

It’s just driving me absolutely crazy

You can have trees between you and the neighbor but everything blows your way. You're inundated with debris and your neighbor has next to no filtering need. (Reason# 2736 that turnover requirements are junk)

Run an OCLT weekly to feel better about it while it lasts. Then have a nice cold beverage and wait it out.

I ordered a fine filter for the EVO just waiting on it to get here. I believe that will be a game changer

I know environment is different and I have a pretty open yard to wind being on a corner lot. Just hate telling the kids they can’t use the pool till this clears up.

I have turned the SWG up to be safe as well might as well have the chlorine hot.

Is it so cloudy you couldn't easily rescue a swimmer ? That's the only concern when FC is between min and slam. You don't need to be able to tell heads or tails on a coin, only that someone needs help over *there*. (But exactly *there*).

No I just have a couple kids will allergies so figured wasn’t good to swim in pollen.

Not sure if anyone has suggested the following, but we are now dealing with the pollen in New England for the last 2 weeks, this is probably the most Pollen I've gotten in the pool in the last 5 years and what helped me was putting a skimmer sock and changing it 2 or 3 times a day depending on your schedule.
During Monday through Friday I could only change it twice a day and during the weekend, I could change it 3+ times. My pool was cloudy with my numbers all being fine and no loss overnight but once I started changing the skimmer sock constantly I noticed a big change. And now, I been changing the sock every couple of days. I'm guessing by next week, it will be once a week.

How are your return jets pointed?
