I ran my polaris (accidentally) for about 24 hours without the filter running? Do I need to do any damage control? I'm a new pool owner and I vaguely remember the pool contractor tell me not to do that.

So you ran the booster pump alone without the filter pump?

If that is true yea you should be ok. Just try not to do it again.

That's what I did. And, it was from 5:15 p to about 11:00 a today.

Just run it again. You may have messed up the seal and it will leak.. If it doesn't leak you are all good

Seal and possibly melted impeller but as Conrad said if it's not leaking you should be good.
