Polaris 390 wall fitting

Hello, I have a Polaris 390 vacuum. The wall fitting recent snapped off. This fitting was the stub pipe connector in 1.5 inch pipe. The attachment head snapped off almost flush with the wall, leaving the stub end stuck in return pipe. How could I got about taking the stub end out and/or replacing the attachment?

Welcome to TFP From what I can tell you can unscrew your wall fitting and take out the piece that is stuck inside it with a pair of pliers. Look at this link for parts

In my case they did not use threaded walk adapter in the original install. It was a non threaded stub pipe, the adapter had a compression fitting I think that was inserted into pipe. The compression part is stuck in the pipe. I tried sticking needle nose pliers inside, opening them and turning to no avail
