I'm looking for a guide on proper pipe burial and related recommendations (labeling? Drawing a map? Depth under pavers? Tamping? Filling dirt underneath?)

Today they started to bury the pipes and they just threw loose dirt on top and didn't try to fill under the pipes (they were kind of floating above the dirt an inch or two in areas). Materials not to put under the pipes.

Also when the water suction drains were set up at the deepest part of the pool, is it ok that they put gravel underneath them before gunfire? I saw someone post about not wanting gravel near any pipes

I couldn't find a guide with this kind of info.

Thanks in advance!!

Never use soil to replace excavated areas, asking for trouble with that.

The pipes need to be supported underneath with sand or gravel.

It's fine to use sand around the pipes, but you want course sand. Either concrete sand or stone dust or paver base.
