The plaster isn't even two years old

No I don't have any test results but the Leslie's pool person says they think it's calcium buildup that can be removed from hard water here in Las Vegas?

No one here will believe Leslie’s testing. Get one of the TFP recommended kits and test it yourself. Looks like plaster wearing off rather than scaling (which is a buildup of calcium)
