PH spiked with Slam

Greetings,
I am just filling and opening my pool today. As the water was being topped off, the PH tested at 7.7. Now after adding about 3 gal. of liquid chlorine and scrubbing the bottom with a brush, the PH is off chart high- purple.??
Fc 20
TA. 80
CH 200
CYA 45 ?
temp. 50 deg.

Help. Should I just leave it or add acid now? Water is cloudy.

Ph will give inaccurate readings when FC is above 10 so I wouldn’t rely on it until your chlorine comes back down.

If you are going to do the SLAM Process then follow it step by step.

Before you add liquid chlorine it says to lower pH to 7.2-7.4.

Once the FC is above 10 the pH test is invalid.

Don't test the pH again until the FC is below 10.

I just read in my test booklet about possible high false PH readings with high FC levels. That must be it and I should do nothing. For now. I hope. Thanks for the help.
