Pentair intelliflo VS pump no display

TFF,

How did you test the input power to the pump?

You need to use a voltmeter and test between L1 and L2 inputs and get 240 volts AC.

You cannot test L1 to ground and then L2 to ground as this can often give you a false reading.

Assuming you tested correctly and had 240 volts right at the pump's AC connections, then your display section of the control head is most likely bad.

Check out this link.. LCD Screen on Pentair IntelliFlo gone bad

Thanks,

Jim R.

Mine is a little different, it has 3 screws that hold the display on. I tried to take them out, but I got one out kind of hard to get out. It has some corrosion around the threads on the bottom. The other two I maybe got two full turns on them then hard as heck, so I just sprayed them with pb Blaster and will see if, I can get them out in the am. Also looked at my install manual for the pump and it's dated 12/5/13 lol, this is the first problem I have had with it. We live @ 3 miles from the Gulf in Gulf Shores AL.
