When you say to disconnect the water temp sensor, are you talking about the one plumbed in after the pump/before the filter with a lead that goes to the Easy Touch panel?
Also, wouldn't it be reporting the salt level to the Easy Touch screen, which is showing me 4,350. I can check the salt level again with a drop test, which was at 4,000 before I added 3 bags of salt. My bet is that the salt level is being reported correctly by the IC60 at 4,350.
I'm guessing the SWG is just toast.

Yeah, you continue to harp on that.
I still think it is insane that it WILL produce chlorine upon startup, but it then determines that the parameters are not good enough to create chlorine anymore.
An analogy that I can use is a vehicle starting up, you driving a mile down the road, the vehicle deciding that the mpg/efficiency of the engine is not optimal, and then shutting down. I guess another vehicle analogy is that an emission sensor returns a code and the vehicle's computer just decides to shut down.
Sort of like somebody saying, "Sure I can do it, but I just don't feel like doing it because it is too much work."
Sounds like insanity to me, but we can agree to disagree on this one.

What Does the Flow/Temperature Switch do on the IntelliChlor?[edit]
The flow switch also contains a thermistor that senses water temperature. The water temperature is used for the salinity calculation. If the thermistor is failing the salinity will be incorrect.Flow switch has 4 wires on cells manufactured before September 2018:
- Red/black - flow switch
- Green/white - temperature sensor
- Red - flow switch
- White - temperature sensor
- Black - common
With no temperature input, the cell defaults to a temperature of 77 Fahrenheit. The sensors are prone to failure. When the sensor fails and it's obvious to the software that the sensor has failed, it defaults to a standard temperature of 77 f.
To electrically confirm the cell is generating you can use a clamp ammeter to measure the DC current at the red or black wire on the surge board. It should be about 6 to 8 amps DC.
