Pentair EasyTouch won't fire heater

So with the temps dipping into the low 90s in Texas it is time to get my heater going ;).

And it won't fire. I have it wired as it has always been, turn heater on in features, then activate in pool or spa (in the app) and set temp. Pump runs up to speed as it is set to do but Heater never powers up and fires. Tried manually on the panel and same issue. I hear the relay fire but the Heater LED does not light. Aux 2 does - power for heater.

I think it could be the sensor on the heater possibly but it has been so long since I installed this thing I forget where that is located. Thought about disconnecting from panel to try but I recall a jumper that had to be moved on heater for automation.

What are the best steps to troubleshoot this?
Thanks

Jumper the Firemans Switch in the heater to put the heater under local control.

If the heater does not start from its control panel then we know to look for problems in the heater.

If the heater starts from its control panel then we look at the EasyTouch for the problem.

Check the EasyTouch heater relay on the board with your multimeter and see if it is closing when the system calls for heat.

If the relay is not closing it could be a bad relay driver which is a $2 socketed chip you can replace.

yea that is what i was worried about. @ogdento helped me and repaired my board. from recollection, i had some funky issues on the heater sometime after. thanks and glad it is socketed. i may even have one already. i think i may have replaced one other.
appreciate the help!

my guess is its why my pool/spa keeps flipping as well (something on the controller). it will just randomly switch from spa to pool. i have to get back to looking at that. i have an overflow so i just let it run that way for now.

OK, I did replace this one and no change. Is that the right one?

When I enable the heater I do hear a relay (before and after replacing it)

When I turn heat on at the pool level nothing happens - heat setting cranked up to 90. Don't see LED on panel turn on for Heat.

Check the wire to the heater for continuity with a multimeter or replace the wire.
