The assembly instructions for my 27' 52" round Mt Loch pool specify 8"x16" patio blocks. The pavers I purchased actually measure 7.5"x15.25".

Does anyone have experience with this pool to know if these will still be large enough?

I suspect you'll be fine with those pavers.

Sidenote- have you ever seen how 2x4's have shrunk over the past decade??

Ha !!! Pretty much anything you can buy that is measured, from a 2X4 to a TV to a boat. If it's a fraction over the last size it's sold ad the next size. TVs especially tweak my mellons. It's bad enough they measure the 55 diagonally, but 54.1....... measured diagonally ????

Make sure you get the thick, paver like stones. The 2 inch thick stepping stone ones (actually 1.5 🤦‍♂️ ) crack under the weight eventually. Get whatever is sold as 4 inch.
