I see a lot of owner builder permitted pool stories working with design/construction companies, and a slew of DIY pool builds that always seem to be outside city limits without permits, but not the two crossing paths. Geometric pool design, block wall construction, both popular and DIY friendly. With the high price of pools why isn't this more of a thing in city limits?
I just saved 22K DIYing a 21kw grid tie solar system, so I've worked with my AHJ on big projects recently so I'd love to figure out a path to starting such a project as this. Permitted and done at cost.
