Hello! Soon they will be putting our 24x52 optimum pool in. This is our first pool! We placed order last summer so yay! It will only be buried 2 feet deep. I am a little confused with the bonding . I thought we need it, however pool guy said no not with this kind of pool. Does anyone have this pool.. and did you have bonding done? Thank you in advance!

All permanent install pools have to be bonded by the NEC.. the pool, water and anything within 5 feet of the pool and all equipment that has power or metal will be connected to the bonding...
The Intex type pools designed to be taken down in the winter do not require bonding and do not have bonding lugs on the equipment.. All your equipment will come with bonding lugs...

Bonding upgraded pumps is too hard. What is the most powerful pump/filter that does not require bonding (and I hope will pump to my roof solar)
Hi So I bought a couple solar panels, an upgraded pump and filter. Before hooking it up I did a bunch of research and determined it will be too hard to properly electrically bond my upgraded pump. My pool is a 14 ft round (4000 gallon) intex steel w/ steel legs and sits on pavers (not dirt)...
