Official 2020 Pool Critters Thread

I’ve been having a lot of frogs get in the pool and die lately. Last night I set up a FrogLog and came out this morning to one getting out of the pool!

Love the frog logs! The bad thing is that now we have a bunch that like to take a swim in the pool and then just hang out on the log(s). Not sure if they are going to like our transition to a SWG.

We get these little critters every now and then. Thankfully, they are found DEAD...even "sitting" on the side of the pool. Oh, that is a scorpion if you were wondering.

I will have to start taking some. After about a year here, you start to go, "oh that's just another four inch long cockroach, but only one of them. We are still good... "

I'm not 100% sure on the species, but yes. And they defiantly bite.

I don't especially skeeve bugs, but centipedes creep me out. I fished a dead one out from the bottom today.
