I've added a 36" Blackstone flat top grill to my arsenal of smokers and grills and we've finally had a weekend when I could get it set up. I cooked smash burgers with bacon. I don't have a final shot, but with a tomato, Vidalia onion and bacon it was a very good hamburger. I'm looking forward to a lot of grilled breakfasts and sandwiches over the summer months. I have a new Rec Tec pellet grill that I haven't moved to the deck yet, but eventually, I'll have a selection of Big Green Egg, Rec Tec Grill, Blackstone Grill, Jen-Air Gas grill and a 270 smoker. I have plans for a lot of cooking and swimming this summer. View attachment 80133 View attachment 80134

That’s a lot of cooking devices but I have 4 ( sommerset grill with searing station, infrared cooker for thanksgiving turkeys, Masterbuilt smoker and isler induction burner) so I guess a couple more may not be too bad[emoji482]

I just got Hubby, AKA Poppa, a Rec Tec grill for Father's day. It will be here tomorrow!

He has noticed that I tend to get him presents that will enable him to cook delicious things for me. Thankfully, he really loves to cook. :whoot:

I finally got to throw some things on the grill. The wife has us on a low carb diet for a change of pace. I tried to tell her I would switch to light beer but that didn't work out too well...oh well the new eats have been tasty except for some mush looking "casserole" (which I ate gladly and pray she never makes again).

Tonights meal smash burgers on a bed of lettuce with cheese, tomato and mustard. A side of cabbage steak with pickled radishes from our very own garden. I tried to slide in some grilled corn until she caught me and screamed we can't eat that...dang it!

Pray for me my beer drinking TFP pool friends...

Craft brewed beers are packed full of essential vitamins and minerals. Beer helps alleviate stress and improves mood. Therefore it is the ultimate health food. Beer is also an ancient beverage with some new evidence that cavemen had figured out how to make it...therefore it qualifies as a paleo-beverage.

You can take my crusty Italian bread and ciabatta bread from me but you will only pry my beer bottle from my cold dead hands...

Check on that especially on a hot day after mowing the lawn. You have just got to have an ice cold one while cooling off in the pool:cheers:

You might not be able to enjoy your brew haha’s, but you can enjoy Bacardi!!
Bacardi is a low carb alcohol, mix it in with some Ice Water, and you’re good to go.
