Lager temp fermented. I'm not kidding when I say if I had to be stuck somewhere with only one kind of Beer, I wouldn't be unhappy if it was this one. My Beer taste is pretty unsophisticated, but I know what I like.

Well, this happened on Fathers Day. Dad wanted Pork "Country Style Ribs" so that's what he got with a little sausage. Pig all the way, from scratch Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, and yeast rolls also by request, courtesy Mrs. Patrick B.

I think Guiness really did a nice job on this one. My kind of Beer, not very Hoppy, but just right for me.

Thanks DV! I'm behind the times with my old steel pit. Make a fire with some wood in there, drink some beers...then throw on some meat and burn it up a little bit. Good to go...:chef:

Brent, did you really have to wear the toenail polish for DV like that?

I"m not telling:smurf:

Nor would I.

So yesterday I was able to scrounge a little Pecan wood for the ol' pit. This is my fave small saw, and its Bad to the bone. It's a Pro Saw, lightweight, easy to handle, and has plenty of guts. I oughta' be able to get a few good cooks out of this batch.
