North Texas Pool Remodel has started!! (Updates with pics as we go)

It has been rainy, so it has slowed down a bit.

Day 6 --- Dirt Gone

Day 6

Day 7 --- Fence Gone

I need to come up with a transition from the driveway to the deck. I am thinking of building large planters.

You can see in this one how we are going to push the fence up toward the front of the house. We are also going to enclose that pool equipment.

Been very rainy here. Fence is completed but we may be a week or two until we can pour concrete and replaster.

Pool Equipment Enclosed

Kids and dog love the new side yard

Oh my goodness! You guys have had a harder time with rain than we have this past week. We've had rain each day, but the rains have been for no more than a couple of hours with clouds only or partly sunny the rest of the time.

But you're right - it's time our Texas lakes are full again! Have a great weekend! Suz.

I have a question - on the fence you did around your equipment - did you make the front or one of the ends a door? I am wanting to do something similar - but not sure where I need to do the access or if I should just leave ends open . . .

We left on end open. Still thinking of fully enclosing it. We are designing that part of the yard next so that will determine what we do with the open side.
