I live in Florida and removed my water heater for the time being. I want to put in a water sensor so the check light goes off on my prologic. I should simply put in the pipe that leads from the pump and leads to the prevously removed heater. Right?

The water temperature sensor connects to the Prologic board. not the heater.

Put the sensor into your pipe using a worm clamp and connect the wires to the appropriate screws on the upper left green connector.

thank you. yes I understand the sensor connects as a low voltage component to the control board. Directions call for it to be mounted after filter and before heater but I don't have heater so I was wondering if anywhere after filter is ok.

yup but where to mount?
any where after filter?
I think two big pipes in left lower corner go underground to other side of yard and then just connect with one another where the heater used to be.

Great and thanks. I notice in directions it says to make sure you remove debris created by drilling. Is that even possible? I believe it ends abruptly and then connects to one of those flat blue drain hoses.

Drill slowly and carefully and use a sharp bit. Try and pick out and vacuum out any pieces. Otherwise you may need to remove your SWG cell and flush out the line.

So there is a valve unseen?

Put the water temp sensor on either side of the T.

I am about ready to install the temperature sensor. I have done a lot of handy work in my life but mostly electrical. I am guessing I need to drill a pilot hole before I drill the 3/8th inch hole. Is there any special technique other than what common sense would dictate. Right?

Nice videos Thank you!
I do not have the water proof lubricant the guy in video used. Is it necessary or just overkill? If necessary I wll have to wait and order. He has his sensor on side of pvc and I was planning straight down from sky to ground. Does it matter at all?

Pool lube helps prevent leaks from around O rings. It is good to have and use on the various O rings you have...

Orientation does not matter. Whatever direction works best for the sensor and clamp.

Thanks! Looks like I would have to order Lubetube as I do not see available in local stores. Wondering if home depot has a substitute that doesnt contain forbidden chemicals.
