Newbie solar pool cover question

I'm finishing construction on my new pool build and need advice on a solar pool cover. The company offers 14x28 or 15x30. My pool is rectangular 14x29. Should I get the smaller one and save some money or get the bigger one and trim to fit. The company and brand is Sun2Solar ultimate blue solar cover 1600 series. And the main purpose of this is for heat retention at night

I would just get the 14x28 as that would only be 6 inches on each side uncovered, mine has about 3 inches for movement on each side...

Trimming is not a fun project. You'll probably be just fine with the smaller one since you will be covering 96.6% of the water surface area.
