Fired up Aquapure SWG PLC 1400 for first time after getting salinity right. Put in Boost mode for 24 hours. Chlorine was barely produced.
Computer at panel says "Chlorine production" and "flow". Im pretty sure it is wired and operating correctly. No visible algae, water is crystal clear.
Here are my numbers:
Water temp - 84
Gallons - 33,000
PH - 7.8
Alk - 119
CYA - 62
Salt -3300
Calcium Hard - 261
Phosphates - 124

After 24 h Boost Total Chlorine - 0.3
After 24 h Boost Free Chlorine - 0.3
Before 24 h Boost Total Chlorine - 0.2
Before 24 h Boost Free Chlorine - 0.2

Can anyone provide some insight as to what might be happening here?

Did you also run your pump 24 hours?

That SWCG will raise your chlorine by 4.5 in boost mode (100%) over a 24 hour period. It is possible you have something in the pool that the chlorine is actively breaking down. Perhaps a nascent algae bloom.

I suggest you manually add chlorine to bring the level up to 6 and check the next day. That would be @ 2 gallons of 10% chlorine.

SWCGs are designed to maintain your chlorine level more than increasing it.
