New SoCal IG shotcrete pool build - equipment set, Final Inspection Passed, Pebble Done! Salt added. Back deck in process

I swear, we have seen some variation of the above pic (post 179) a bunch of times. Yet. The workmans pride shown makes my heart happy each time, just like the first.

If you are hardwired ethernet, I would recommend getting a surge protector for that also.

It is hard wired. I have a single cat6 running from my network closet to the pad. In the large outdoor box on the right is a poe switch that then provides an outlet to the panel, a poe camera and two lines to the future bbq island. Would one prior to the switch on the feed work?

@MyAZPool @Turbo1Ton am i missing it or does the alexa integration with intellicenter not give the ability to use scheduling thru the alexa app? I want to have the landscape and pool lights turn on at 30m post sunset and turn off at 10pm but I'm not seeing any of the aux or feature circuits show up in alexa as devices.

Alexa is junk WRT the Intellicenter. Sorry to say it. I doubt any scheduling is available at all.

I downloaded bluestacks and the Intellicenter app through there and was able to schedule my lights to come on at sunset. I don't think sunset is available through the webclient or the local panel. I think it was just through the Android app in GooglePlay.

Found it in the android app, thank you!
For the mastertemp, since the new version is connected via rs485, should it be full time powered like the intelliflo pumps instead of thru the load side of the pump relay?

digging post holes suck!
They make cheap augers now that work amazing for homeowners.

I bought one thinking I was going to install 40 something sections of PVC fence with the intent of it being junk and returning it. It worked so well I kept it. Then reality set in that the fence was too big of a project for my available time and I didn't even need it for the fence. I have some real stubborn spots in the yard and I'll go get the auger and let it do the hard parts. I've lost count of how many plants and bushes it helped me move and I used it last weekend to trench 20 ft for a sprinkler line move when the shovel just wasn't doing the job. I punched a bunch of holes with little effort and voila. Trench.

Lol, I bought a used harbor freight auger several months ago for the fence project then the guy that was helping brought his so I never used it. When I went to use it this time the pullstart exploded 🥺 and I couldn't bring myself to go buy another, I thought it's only 12 holes 😔

Got the "rafters" installed on the solar rack yesterday which got me thru my long weekend goal 🥳

Today the guys came back and did the rockwork patch on the grotto light and shower valve and a few other miscellaneous paint items. I installed the shower valve and shower head.20220531_091915.jpg20220531_103009.jpg
Since the deck jets were done late they are not in the coping. Pb plans to just backfill with dirt so I'm thinking I'll have the two brothers that did the artificial rocks come back after the pool contract is complete and add some additional "boulders" along the back wall and I corporate the deck jets as well as a couple umbrella holders for use to hold a temporary movie screen.

Got a bit more of the solar rack put together this evening. I also moved the splice box for the temp sensor and bbq island (future) onto the rack instead of just floating how it had been. Steel is spendy, i should have bought this stuff in november when i bought the panels 🥺20220531_200755.jpg

Finished the base rack for the pool solar today as well as added the vacuum breaker where I am told it goes. Still need to pickup the corrugated roofing for the rack but I need to borrower a trailer for that as they are 13x3 panels. In the mea time I picked up the 2" pvc and will start running that as my intention is to hang it under the rack.

Tile guys came yesterday and repaired the stair liner tiles, though they did not clean the thinset off of them nor did they do anything with the skimmer tile. Should the bottom of the skimmer be tile or pebble?

We are supposedly on "standby" whatever that means for pebble on Saturday.

Take a step back and show us the skimmer with the waterline tile on either side of it. I will say most of them have the tile inside on both sides and the bottom. Either they are being lazy (as seen by not cleaning up the other tile) or they thought it would look better using plaster instead of tile.

I'll take a photo shortly, woke up this am to an actively flooding laundry room, so much fun! I do know the left side is not tile as it is a part of the artificial rock work, my question/concern is the horizontal section as well as the space below the left side tiles.
