Why is our new pump making a high pitched sound after 6 days? I’m not sure how to upload the video. I only see pictures.

Worn/bad bearings come to mind when someone mentions a high pitched sound, but only 6 days old? 
We've all experienced something bad right out of the box, so it does happen. Did the pump run dry by any chance? If you can't figure out how to post or link a video, maybe show us some pics of the equipment pad?
