Hello I just had my older pressure gauge fall off actually fall off.i guess from the rust so I got a new one installed it and now the gauge is showering a pressure of a line before 20 and with the older gauge it was like 25-30. at 30 I would back wash. What would cause the drop in pressure? Would a spliced line lower the filter pump. I also had to change out my plug due to the wires coming loose at the box side probley from kids pulling on it to unplug it. Any information would be great..

I believe it did now I backed wash and it went down to 10psi but the pressure that's coming back to the pool I still powerful
