New pool placement

I packed her away in my new pool hut. It's too bad my steps dont fit in there. I have all the parts from the first pool and this pool in there. I'd like to make a bench for more storage. I put all my liquid chlorine in the basement.

Raising the thread for an update.

We are having a garage built and the most financially logical placement for the garage is right where I wanted my pool so I'm going to let Jim have it for his garage. We have a guy coming out in a few weeks and he's going to dig out my pool in the top yard and bring all the dirt down to use as fill for the garage because our yard slopes. You just cant get away with it in PA! lol I dont really care because the bottom yard is untouchable. Why? Because in a few years when I get my truck paid off, I'm putting in my inground. So for now... I'll just put my pool behind the dogs fence n install it there. It'll get full blazing sun which I love and the water will still be wet. As soon as we get this permit pulled n he can start, I'll post pics.

I paid a good bit of my debt off over the last 8 weeks since moving in. I really want an inground pool. I don't think I'll even waste my money on putting a nice deck on this above ground. Maybe just a small platform to get into the pool. I'm also hoping that in a few years the price gouging on pools goes down. We'll see how that goes. A buddy of mine at work had a 12x24 inground priced at $50k.

Pool prices are insane IMHO..If I didn't buy a house with one ( last 2 have had a pool ) I would have a hard time paying for it!

I see an OB in your future.

You know how to operate a back hoe?

Begin finding out who the good contractors are in your area and getting to know them.

If I were about 10 years younger, I would. Lol

I ordered and planted over 45 Thuja Green Giant trees yesterday and this morning. I have 20 more on order to finish the outer perimeter of the property line. I wanted to have them established so when I put my inground in, I wont be paying thousands of dollars for a privacy fence. These were planted 5ft apart. The youtube link will show how nicely they grow in. These will take a 3-5 years to grow in well. That's enough time for me to get myself financially able to secure a pool loan for my dream pool. Lot of work put in for these. I had great success with them at the other place n they looked so nice at 5 years old.
