So, my PB, who started construction of my pool on 10/6/23, is just now completing it. Of course we are in the middle of winter. They put liner in and filled this week. They dumped lots of salt in it, and turned pump on. They said to let run for 24 hours to stabilize chlorine. This water is extremely cold, and temps here got down to 20 degrees last night. It is my understanding that the SWG isnt going to do anything when its this cold. Should they have dumped all this salt in, or waited until warmer water/weather? I assume i will now need to turn around and figure out how to close the pool. Any help on what i need to do? Liquid chlorine? How much? I would appreciate any help or advice i can get at this time. Not much help from the PB.
