New pool, discolored grout

Welcome to TFP.

It is an outdoor pool. No one is going to come by and inspect your grout.

Calcium does not have anything to do with the way it looks. Hard to say what is going on since we don't know what the original color was supposed to be and how it was mixed and applied. To me it looks wet and water either splashed on the grout or water is being wicked up.

I thought the same thing. Just looks wet, and nothing like calcium.
