New pool design in Phoenix

The plumbers installed our entire EQ pad with pumps 1 inch lower than the top of the bond beam (or 3 inches below the top of the coping). Is that a bad thing? Should it be higher than that…now is the time to change if we should.

I couldn't even tell you how my pump sits in relation to my water level. You should be fine. It's on the same grade as the pool right?

It’s roughly the same level as the grade, just a few inches below.
