if this was my back yard. i would have a zone under the waterfall. so at night you can play it lower and not light up the rest of the yard. i would also have a zone for by the covered porch out back of the house to light it up with the putting green. i would than have a larger pool zone to cover pool and firepit area. this way you can light up that area during the day but then later at night you can control zones as needed based on where people are. when you want everything loud and coverage everywhere you throw the zones into a party mode and then the 1 source is on all zones. but this would be through a distributed audio setup like nuvo or russound or sonos.

ok cool good to know. like i said don't know a thing about bose.
ya with how they are positioned now they need to be set in stereo mode vs mono and there still will be gaps prob, but you can get away with it. with scope of your backyard and the cost you have into it. i wouldn't do anything else but zone. i can tell you my wife would not want it all as one zone. cause i could see her hanging out under the waterfall later at night and i would be up under the porch. i would want 1 thing on and she would another and if she didn't want something on then she would be yelling at me cause i want music on and she could hear it where she is. sound only travels so far.

You can set it either way in the Bose app. You can make it mono or stereo. The SA-5 Amos are part of the SoundTouch system so they are just like Sonos. They have internet streaming and link up with Pandora, iHeart, SiriusXM, and a couple others I don't use. XM gets the most use for me.
I should also say the only reason I have Bose is because my brother in law works for them so I got it all half price. Otherwise I agree with Jim that it's too expensive and you can get as good or better speakers for less.
