This is my pool build and equipment. Does anyone have anything to add for the equipment that I chose. This will be a pool build only because I have a nice outdoor hot tub that I will be keeping and relocating.
I also have a question about laying travertine decking around an existing outdoor kitchen. The outdoor kitchen was laid on a pavers and we are pulling up the existing pavers and layers diana royal leathered travertine. My question is should I just wet saw the perimeter of the pavers around the outdoor kitchen or somehow try to slide pavers from under the metal perimeter of the kitchen and slide the travertine in. The pool builder wants to slide it out and in and I am skeptical of the plan. If we cut around the perimeter I could just put some trim on the bottom. Thanks for any help.

Nelly,

Looks good to me... :goodjob:

I always recommend a large VS pump, and a large cartridge filter and a saltwater system.. You've got all that.

Most Florida pools have a filter about the size of a soda can, so I am shocked...

How many gallons will your pool be??

Thanks,

Jim R.

3 feet is too shallow. Make the pool 4’ to 5’.

Get the Intelliflo3 011077 model with the touchscreen.

Will your builder be exchanging the IC40 Pentair has in the IntelliCenter bundle for a IC60?

Hey everyone, so starting to dig pool next week. Pool dimensions are 16 by 29 with a sunshelf of 7 by 16. one length of the pool will have a bench seat. Going over specifics with pool builder before the digging starts. Question I have is where should I put the steps coming down off the sun shelf. Closer to the bench or the opposite side of the bench. Also, the pool length is 29 feet with 7 feet taken off for the sunshelf. When trying to determine depth size I was thinking of just doing 4 feet then 5 feet in the middle and then 4 feet on other side. How many feet of each depth would be best. Seems like 3 feet would be too shallow and 5 feet too deep considering we are 5'7". I will try and include pic. thanks in advance. the pic below is the pool design except the sun shelf will be the entire width os the pool.
