What’s a good price for mini/micro pebble? 970 sq ft pool, (56 sq ft spa). Can you also advise what a good price on porcelain water line tile install and ledger stone install runs? My plumbing cost a bit more than I had budgeted so I have to be careful.

My contractors are all on the high side as you found out about with the plumber.
J Hock is the plaster contractor that I only recommend and he’s not cheap, Sorry.

Removing forms before deck install and coping. Alcoho-Holics is this gap ok around the skimmer where I removed the form? The skimmer was properly rebared.

Looks like the typical 3” wood forms, should not pose a problem. I would remove the form on the right side of the skimmer also that extends into the mouth. Clean the void left behind and fill with a cement product so that the decking concrete doesn’t fill this void.

I saw another post recommending plastic cement? I checked and saw it was only 1800 psi…I should look for something around 5000 psi right? Also use a bonding agent.

Would this work? Looks like a bonding agent is not needed. Quikrete 20 lb. Hydraulic Water-Stop Cement Concrete Mix 112620 - The Home Depot

Yes you want the higher PSI, your goal is to have the void filled prior to coping to keep the two independent of each other.

Coping guy said he could fill it with coping concrete when he comes out. What’s the down side of doing this?
