New Pool Build in Spring, TX

That makes sense! They were done for the day by that point! Don't want to do something this important when you are so tired!

6:15 am?????? Your neighbors are going to need a swim in your pool to make up for this early start!

Re: New Pool Build in Spring, TX - Gunite!

Gunite finished!

Dig was Saturday Sept 5th. PB has been a rock star for us!

They are drains to feed water feature pumps.
They don't have to be in the floor of pool.
I have 8 in the wall of my pool.

Might even be a light in there somewhere.

Nope, just checked steel pic. They are drains.

Mine were stubbed out with hard PVC, not the flex stuff, and tied to the steel.
Based on the steel picture, back a ways, I'm not sure if they tied these off, or relied on Gunite crew to align them.

I think they were hanging loose. Unfortunately I was at work today while the gunite crew (THE top crew in Houston) finished up. So I don't know exactly what they did. I'll see the PB this evening so I'll ask.

Thanks for the insight!

beautiful -- and I used to think the cement stage was ugly, I've really come a long way - ha!

Haha. The pool part looks great. The yard, on the other hand, is a disaster.

We're waiting on the stone work. PB says the crew he wants is on another job and will not be available for another few days.

After the stone work, they'll do a good yard clean up before trenching in the plumbing.

So we are in waiting mode now.
