New Pool Build in Oklahoma

OK new friends... pool outline complete today and dig is scheduled for Friday!
Thanks to this group I made the following changes:

1. Increased pool size to 21' x 24' x 20' x 19' x 45'
2. Increased spa size to 8' diameter
3. Chose a builder who isn't in bed with ozone
4. Changed from Easy Touch to Intellicenter and IC40 to IC60

Pool is marked and dig is scheduled for Friday. Here are pictures.

Let the mud and clothes stains begin!! LOVE the kids already in the pool! LOL

Now run out there with the plans and a tape measure in hand. It is wide, long, deep, etc enough? Add about 8" for the steel, shell, and plaster. NOW is the time to tweak or fix as wanted/needed.

LOVE those tiles! Now you do have a big job to do with them..............as soon as the boxes get there open them and take all of the tile out. Some are going to be extra pretty. You will put those on the far side of the pool. The place them where your eyes fall when you walk out to the pool. Then..........there will be some ugly ones........hide those so they don't get used. Now if you want to go one step further you can even lay them out how you want them to be done and where you want them. (Yeah I do have control issues LOL).

SWEET!!! That looks great! Have you started bonding with it yet? aka watering it to help slow down the curing.

It is time for your set of links! The first set is all about what to do and ask about to get a great plaster job. The second set is all about how to care for your pool after you get the plaster.

Plaster links:

Now is also a good time to ask what test kit your PB will be providing so we can fill in any holes.

Pool was shot on Friday. This week is going to be cold... mostly in the 30s over the next few days. Anything I should do to help the gunite during these next few days?
