Today the Pregading took place!

We are doing a 27’x 14’ chlorine, shotcrete pool, with a very large baja shelf.

Simple and fun! I’ll post progress pictures along the way

SWEET!!! Now run out to do your first job with the build. Take your plans and measuring tape. Add about 8" for the steel, shell, and plaster. Is it long, wide, deep, etc enough?

Congrats.... very clean dig and looks great so far. Start thinking about some kind of wall or fence to hide your equipment and some kind roof or awning to protect it from the AZ sun. The heat will reek havoc on your plastic and fiberglass components. Even painting the exposed pipe, fittings and valves helps alot.

I would not get an enclosure really. More of a simple "fence" that is very open so the air moves freely with more a "lean to" feel about it.

Yup, @MyAZPool had This done for his equipment, and it kicks butt!

MyAZpools setup rocks... but even a simple lean to roof like suggested above will work. As a side note, you can double and triple up that shade material to give better shade, while still allowing air to get through.
