New O/B Las Vegas needs help lol

Man it started so good and easy. The last half have been stressful and aggravating. We are happy it is almost done. Now need to save some more money to do landscaping.

Wish they would hurry up get here and acid wash so can fill hahaha. Owner just came by. Said likes to check quality of job and cleanliness. Said to make sure if see anything we don't like let workers know. If not clean to our satisfaction contact office will have a crew right out to make sure is right. They actually left everything super clean so far.

Well that acid wash didn't go well. I watched plenty of videos and have some common sense and that was not how you acid wash. Guys were At house for less then 40 minutes. That's show up time unload acid wash and clean up leave. Most videos I seen was either applying with a hose and using a broom/brush to spread. Or using a flower pot waterer to apply so covering whole area. These guys took a hose that was connected to 55 gallon drum and applied. They held the hose on the tile and let run down and just kept moving all way around. Ya as moving it is not covering whole sides of walls it is beading of in all sorts of streams. I watched basically 1/3 of the pool receive no acid except maybe when guy pressure washing and cleaning off. So ya no direct applied if that makes sense. I'm not one to direct workers time got hold of owner they were gone. They are now on way back gerrrrrr. Not sure if making to big of a deal but if it didn't need acid wash they wouldn't do it. If needs it why not do correct and whole pool.

Ya they are back and the funny thing is they are doing it exactly how I seen almost every video of it being done. Coating the pebble with the acid and scrubbing it with a broom to even out and then pressure washing.

Brand I have to ask..........did they KNOW you were watching them? I bet they thought you were a "run of the mill" pool owner that did not have a clue! LOL BOY were they wrong! They tried to do it the fast, lazy way and got called on it! Good for you.

I watched for few minutes outside and then went in and watch from back door. Probably couldn't see me or didn't think I knew. Soon as finished I walked out started snapping picture and sending to owner. I didn't want to call them out of maybe they did different way. Did a prewash and the did scrub second time around. This time they came with brooms and scrubbed it good

Omg! Sounds like my experience. They will shortcut if you allow it. I did. So glad you called them in it. We spend too much to not get quality work.
