I had a wheel barrel another friend who couldn't be here dropped 2 off another friend loaned me 2 and almost everyone else brought one had more then we did people lol. There were actually more people that where here the pictures. Finishers did all the work there selves. Said we were in the way lol. Said just keep wheel barreling and they got rest. No ate almost everything and drank almost everything. Lol

We will be leveling it all out and planting some bushes or small trees not sure yet. Then putting colored rock down. Ya I think they just wanted it done and not have to do it twice lol. That's the work they do and take pride so wanted done right. Only thing had I don't like is the drain across the concrete. I did t put enough stakes around it so bowed in a few places. You have to be standing off in planter to tell but o well. I can tell so that why bothers me.

My last house had little palms and trees around pool. If look at how I poured it. It has the S shape. All the deep spots will have something planted there. I am not a big fan or lots of trees and bushes. I always like the new yard look. Just me I guess. Also nothing will be going into joints. Went to QingGuy house and has same joints. Checked my neighbors out has same thing.

We got so lucky on the pour. I estimated 14-1/2 yards. I ordered a full truck 11 yards. I poured that and then would measure and order rest of concrete to make sure was right. I estimated needed 2.9 yards to finish. I ordered 3.5 yards. There are plenty of variables cause of the odd shape and if not 3-1/2 inches deep will need more concrete. I ordered 1/2 yard extra. We ended up with 1 wheel barrel to spare that's it. Way to close for me. My friends where teasing me so hard what would of happened if 1 short lol. I was due for some good luck. Very blessed also. My friends would not let me wheel barrel 1 load and the finishers would not let me help them at all. I was the beer and water assistant lol. My wife was gone all day had prior plans. One of my friends wife came over and BBQ everything and kept the guys fed.

Dead serious 1 left. So so lucky. Ok back to plaster. We are doing pebble and leaning towards a wet edge installer here. How did you guys pick your color. We love the tan pebble look but from research seems to make pool look green. So going back and fourth tryin to decide a color. We want a bright blue looking pool with some pop look on wet edge

What several here have done is share with us and let us pick for you. Have the coping and tile picks to compare to. You can even go so far as to put the sample of the plasters in a tub filled with water to see what it looks like wet.
