Hi all,
Just joined, tried to before but it said registration was closed. Starting the BBB method this year. Added a SWCG and VSP over the winter while pool was closed. Opened pool to no FC and white water mold coming out of skimmers when I pulled the gizmos out. Also, my CYA level when from really high (trichlor last year) to almost nothing. Added liquid CYA to bring it up to 60, added salt to meet generator requirement, and am picking up some liquid chlorine from lowes today to start a SLAM (water is cloudy). I already have a TF-100 test kit with the PH meter and have read what to do, just need to put it all motion now. Pool is plaster, 16500 gallons, with heat pump.

Readings from yesterday:
PH: 7.4
TA: 150 (will drop that after slam)
FC: 2.5
CC: 2
CH: 350
SALT: 2900
CYA: 60

Yeah, I tried over the course of the last few weeks and it told me that registration was currently locked.....tried again this morning and it went through!
