That one may need the plumbing adjustment and is a 1.5 hp replacing a 1 hp which could potentially cause some problems.

Pump came in finally. I just finished installing it.

Will have to drill and bolt down but that's easy. Only a 2" difference.

The copper cable was too short for this new pump, so I used a ground wire. Is that ok?

So far, it has not shut off like it was doing before. A good sign I think. I also hear some clicks like before, but motor is now continuing to run vs stopping every time those clicks came up.

How long does it take a 120v hot tub to go from 76 degrees to 100/104?

It's too early to see if it's working.

Plugged it in at 2pm sharp. It was 76 degrees.
It's 3pm sharp now. It's 78 degrees

4pm sharp showed 80degrees.

Seems like a solid 2 degrees per hour.

To get to 100, if this rate continues, will take 10 more hours.

76-100 degrees = 12hrs

Is this normal?
Cover is on and it's 87 degrees today
