+1. Any 'extra' powder doesn't mix. If you have one or two grains swirling around, and the sample is pink, that's the perfect amount of powder and use that much.
If it's not pink you need more, and if the bottom has lots of grains swirling you used too much.
*providing there is chlorine in the sample to turn it pink in the first place.
Well y'all it's been a while. The pool was eventually finished along with the new pier, I got to enjoy the place from august of last year until December. A very unexpected family situation (divorce) forced the sale of the house. IM not going to go into details of that. But we finished the place and promptly listed it. All as planned, New retaining walls, new exterior doors, finished the landscaping, the pier, etc. It all became a headache but the pool and spa especially were great therapy through it all. But all is behind me and im doing fantastic now. Im in a brand new house, work is great and im excited to build the next pool.
It was an extreme pleasure to enjoy it for the time I had. But this year is a new year and I am on to a new build at a new house. That thread will be starting shortly. These pics are from the real estate listing. The house sold in literally 6 hours, and I won't lie I made a killing on it which could not have come at a better time, I bought and sold right as they say.
We sold below where we wanted right as the lockdowns were ending but got a better house for less than *they* were happy about. We made out better in the end, then everything exploded and it's worth double now. It means nothing as we're staying for a long time and lord knows what it'll be then. But it's fun to watch. Lol.
Good luck on the new endeavors. Can't wait to ride along.
Now you get to build another pool doing all the things you wish you did different on your first build. Few get that opportunity. This next one should be even nicer.
