Lol nice! Do u have a build thread over there. Ya same screen name over there. My build was suppose to be done by now but this whole pool situation got in the way. My build started off as a build and then I wanted to get the basement done so I could get started outside so my room is a soUndproof closet right now. lol I'm ready for finish work over there. Trim out acoustics equipment. Nyal is doing my acoustic plan. My build is my hobby but I'm also involved heavily with my buddy's business which is a home theatre business that has been around for 35 ish years now. It was a 2 channel business then translated into whole home audio video home theatre and then I landed and started to take it into automation and more heavier designed dedicated rooms. My room is going to be a 7.4.4 setup from triad. Silver all around. It's all I needed for the room size. Prob Seymour or Stewart screen. Jvc projector. Ada amps most likely. Marantz pre. Acoustics will be diy from Nyal's plan. My buddy's shop will be doing all my woodwork fro the acoustic panels. Typical coffered wood ceiling with acoustics and all the walls wrapped in wood and acoustics. Typical wood/acoustic build. Last thing we did was hand the door. We built it down dave's shop. I finished up the stage and riser and then turned my attention to finishing the basement to get outside that spring. Who knows when I'll get back at it. I know I got by buddy in my ear cause it was suppose to be done by now to show but . . . Ya you know pool and everything else.
Everything audio and video is me. Automation is all hai/Vera with irule for control. I knew the owner well. My whole home audio is nuvo as u prob know from reading here. My upstairs setup in my living room is triangle for bed audio and triad for subs and atmos. Bouncy speakers. Lol. Did them to show people tha can't mount in the ceiling that they work. They really do. It takes some careful placement but it works. My basement setup is a very very simple triad all inwall setup to show you can have quality in a small package plus my theatre is down there. If u look at my Flickr account u can see the whole build out. My door is detailed there too. Works well.
Hopefully 2 years I can get back on it. You know. The acoustics alone and trim out can be as much as a pool.
Ur room sounds awesome! The jtr speakers are pretty sweet. Do u have a build over there? I haven't been there much cause I'm so deep into my build outside. I'm trying to figure out how to swing a projector outside right now. Lol. I might start to research super short throw projectors cause of my setup out there. I don't know yet. For the 5 months of use it's prob not worth it.
