You can never have enough drainage. Please tell me they will cut the curb and not put in a pop up drain. If not I would see if they can. It helps with the flow and you don’t get standing water in the drain pipe.

Adding drain pipe was an awesome idea and saved lots of cash Im sure. This is something I wish I had done early on in my build...
Great pool design and color choices. I have a SWG and use my in line chlorinator during the winter months to add tabs and in the early spring to get my CYA up. It's also a plus when you travel. The SWG is fantastic though. My builder used the integrated drain with the pavers for a more finished look. I love it but have to remember to clean the gaps so it will drain properly. It's interesting how easy those gaps fill with dirt.
Can I ask what your lot size is? I’m guessing 65’. We are thinking about putting a 40’ pool on a 55’ lot, and I’m nervous about it. Yours looks like it has good proportions.
Looking forward to seeing the plaster go in. I think you’ve made a good choice with the colour you’re going with.
Proportion is definitely important. I think yours looks fine but from time to time I see pools that look greedy in the sense that they take up more yard than they aesthetically should. This is something we spent a significant amount of time debating in our small yard/small pool build.
Love that deck!
Looking good...
BLING!!!!! Love the color!
